천국 시민의 필요 충분 조건

만일 범죄 사실이 밝혀지거나 빨간 줄이 그어진 기록이 나타나면 가차없이 시민권 신청서를 거부할 것임.

천국 시민권을 받을 때는 자격 심사 요건이 사뭇 다르다.
죄의 기록이 새빨갛게 쓰여 있다 할지라도 그 죄를 스스로 인정하고 회개한 흔적이 있으면 그 빨간 줄을 깨끗이 지우고 천국 시민권을 받을 기본 자격을 부여한다.
이것이 곧 은혜 이다. 물론 이것은 첫 심사를 통과하는 필요조건이다. (요한 1서 1장 9절)

그러므로 미국 시민권 신청의 경우에는 첫째 필요조건이 범죄 기록이 없어야 하지만 천국 시민 신청의 경우에는 죄의 회개가 우선적인 필요조건이다.
그런데 이 죄의 회개는 세상의 법을 어긴 것보다도 하나님의 법을 어긴 것을 회개 해야 하므로 우리 모두에게 해당된다. (롬 3: 23)

하늘나라 시민권의 필요조건은 죄의 회개이고 그의 충분조건은 예수님이 나의 죄를 속죄 하기 위해 십자가에서 죽으셨다는 것을 믿는 것이다. 이 믿음은 또한 구원에 이르는 충분 조건이다. (예배소서 2:8)
